Welcome, Kindergarten Parents! Please use me as a resource to assist with any questions or concerns regarding your child. I love working with
families.
1. Every time you listen to your child tell you something, you teach him how to tune in to his teacher in class.
2. Every time you read to your child, you help her take the first steps needed to read with the teacher.
3. Every time you take time to explain something, you promote interest in learning.
4. Every time you hug your child, you help him know that he is worthy of love and respect from everyone.
5. Every time you solve conflicts calmly, you help her know how to solve conflicts peacefully with her classmates.
6. Every time you allow your child to make decisions, you help him learn to be an independent thinker.
7. Every time you set limits for your child, you help her learn to reach her potential within limits set by her kindergarten teachers.
8. Every time you follow through consistently with consequences, you allow your child to accept classroom expectations and consequences.
9. Every time you require you child to complete chores, you help her learn responsibility.
10. Every time you say a kind word or do a kind deed, you influence your child to show kindness toward his classmates and teachers.
